55% to consignor, 45% to store per item if sold over $375
50/50 split per item if sold under $375
Prices on merchandise are held firm for 60 days.
Merchandise will be reduced as follows:
15% after 60 days
Additional 10% every 30 days thereafter.
After 150 days, merchandise may be priced at our discretion.
After 180 days, any unsold merchandise will become the property of the store.
All items must be in excellent, polished, odour free and clean condition, otherwise cleaning fees will be charged. Cleaning large items such as sofas and carpets must be prepaid.
Finalizing of pricing will be done in-store. The consignor will receive a phone call/email regarding prices. The consignor will have 24 hrs to approve of pricing before their items are placed on the showroom floor.
It is the consignor's responsibility to monitor the reduction and cut off dates. We Do Not call to remind consignors when items are sold or to be donated.
Items being delivered must be brought in by the consignor(s) or a moving/delivery company. Warehouse staff are not permitted to leave the loading dock and remove items from vehicles.
If you wish to reclaim your unsold items, the consignor may take back their merchandise without charge only after 100 days. If items are taken back before the 100 days, a 15% charge of the initial price will be levied. A two (2) day notice is required for your items to be made ready. No pick-ups without prior notice are allowed. Pick up must be made within two days to avoid storage charges of $30 per day, payable at the time of the pickup.
Cheques are created the month following the sale of merchandise, and mailed to the consignor by the 12th. There is an administration fee of $3.00 on cheques under $100.00 and $6.00 on cheques over $100.
Large items that are dropped off ‘without approval’ and ‘not accepted’ must be picked up within two (2) days or they will be disposed of and any disposal fees will be charged back to the consignor. Though we make every effort to care for your merchandise while with us, we cannot be responsible for breaks, dents, scratches or wear due to the inherent quality of the piece.
